Rio Alto Kft. is a privately owned Hungarian company which operates a beef cattle project in Southwest Hungary. The company is owned by Rio Alto Ranch International Inc. from Canada. The goal of Rio Alto Kft. is to assist the farmers of Hungary and Eastern Europe in improving their beef production with the introduction of Red Angus and Charolais genetics combined with Western Canadian technology.
